Project Experience
- University of Washington Capital Projects Office Project Manager, Seattle Wa, $10 million annually. Project Manager for multiple concurrent projects ($100,000 to $6M) from programming through construction. Projects included new construction and remodel work for buildings, roads and outdoor classrooms/theaters per the campus master plan. Projects required extensive planning and interface with multiple campus entities to ensure user satisfaction and on-time completion in occupied space.
- Tyco Fire Products Facility. Lubbock, TX, $13 M. Design/Build Project Manager for 240,000 sf Manufacturing facility in Lubbock, TX. Building consists of 138,000 sf of manufacturing, 76,000 sf of distribution and 13,000 sf of office space. Programming, design and construction was complete in 11 months. This early completion along with significant cost savings and owner accolades resulted in the project winning a national company award.
- Ada County Courthouse Project, Boise, ID, $60 million. Project Engineer for design/build project that provided a 350,000 sf combined space building including 25 courtrooms, office space, holding cells and state of the art security and AV systems. Project was completed on time and within budget, was LEED certified, and won a national company award.
- Beverly Hills OSC Building and Parking Garage, Beverly Hills, CA, $25 million. Project manager for the design of temporary structure, relocation of personnel, demolition of existing buildings and construction of new operations service center and 300-space parking garage. Project was designed for a LEED Silver rating.
- Boise Foothills Learning Center. Civil design manager for landscaping package for this important educational facility located in the heart of the Boise Foothills.
- McNary Dam CPSP Security Upgrade Project, Umatilla, OR, $3 million. Project manager for Corps of Engineers project that provided security system upgrades to existing systems for increased detection and delay features at heightened force protection levels. Components included local operating security system and extensive perimeter fencing, vehicle barriers, sensors, lighting, and CCTV systems.
- Pawtucket Water Treatment Plant, Pawtucket, RI, $45 million. Procurement and Contracts administrator for design/build 25 MGD water treatment plant.
- City of Boise, Foothills Dam Project, Boise, Idaho. Construction engineer for project that included highway replacement and construction of a dam for flood control. Monitored construction activities for compliance to drawings, environmental controls and safety requirements.
- Sipan Heap Leach Gold Mine Project, Pampa Cuyoc, Peru. Civil designer for site utilities, grading and drainage for a completely undeveloped site at 12,000 feet in the Andes Mountains.
- Shell Oil Company, Remedial Action, Rocky Mountain Arsenal, Colorado. Contributed civil design and operations planning for large remediation project that converted contaminated land to a wildlife refuge.
